Leeds-Grenville residents mourning the loss of a loved one are being invited to an event being organized by the Brockville General Hospital.
Staff members from the hospital’s Palliative Care wing are preparing a “Community Celebration of Life,” to help people processing grief and loss remember their loved ones together.
“We are proud to serve the individuals and families in the Leeds and Grenville Community and want to reflect and remember those we have lost, through music and spoken word,” explains Grief and Bereavement Coordinator Carrington Aslaner. “All are welcome to attend.”
The event will feature a live performance from local musician James King.
It’s happening Wednesday, June 21st, at either Hardy Park or the First Presbyterian Church in Brockville, depending on the weather.
