Here’s what’s happening in Prescott:
The Town of Prescott is rolling out the Dead-Ice Pilot Program.
Beginning now and running until May 15, discounted rates are being offered for non-prime ice times at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre.
They are available in the coming week on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

Community Food Share is holding its largest food drive this weekend.
A green reusable grocery bag with the Community Food Share logo and information will be delivered to your front door on Saturday.
You’re asked to fill the bag with non-perishables and volunteers will return on May 11 to pick up donations.

The Spencerville and District Optimist Club is holding its third annual dinner auction and fundraiser on May 11.
It’s scheduled to take place at the Drummond Building at the Spencerville Fairgrounds.
Tickets are $35 per person and you can find out more information by contacting the club.

The same golfer has hit a hole-in-one at the Prescott Golf Club for the second time this month.
PGC member Austin Greenham pulled off the feat on the 9th hole Monday morning.
