Here’s what’s happening in Prescott:
The Town of Prescott is teaming up with the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal and the Township of Augusta to try to improve the area’s water and wastewater services.
The three are joining together on a joint $38 million infrastructure funding application to the provincial government’s Housing-Enabling Water System Fund.
If successful, the investment will improve water and wastewater services for our residents and free up capacity to add up to 1,550 new homes in Prescott and Augusta.

The Leeds, Grenville, and Lanark District Health Unit is sending out the last call for submissions for their Oral Health Month activity.
Parents and kids from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 are invited to work together to submit a drawing or painting showing who is on their child’s oral health team.
You can learn more on the health unit’s website and the deadline to enter is May 1st.
April is Oral Health Month.

The Morrisburg and District Lion’s Club is working to help protect the planet.
Twice a year, they pick up trash along Highway 2 to Church Road.
Last year, they say they filled over 20 bags of roadside garbage and they add they will be back at it again early next month.

Thousand Islands Secondary School Treasure Chest in Brockville is looking for formal wear donations.
The prom dresses that are collected will be given to students who need them.
