There’s some road construction to be aware of this week.
Churchill Road from Alexander Crescent to Mackenzie Road is scheduled to be worked on from Wednesday at 7 a.m. to Friday at 6 p.m.
You’re asked to avoid the area until the construction is complete.

The hospitality classes at South Grenville District High School are helping out with the Tim Horton’s Smile cookie campaign this week.
You can stop by the Prescott Tim Hortons to enjoy a cookie and help support local charities at the same time.

Families are being invited to take part in the free Red Shoe Run Family Day event.
Organizers say it’s scheduled for May 11 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Montague Public School.
You’re invited to bring your bike and helmet for the OPP inspection and stay for the fire trucks, curling, races, crafts, face painting, games, petting zoo, old-time country music, and free popcorn and coffee.

The South Grenville Minor Hockey Association is organizing a community cleanup.
It’s scheduled for Saturday with volunteers meeting up at the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre at 10:30 a.m.
Snacks and drinks will be provided afterward.
