Here’s what’s happening in Prescott:
Work on the Weir Road Bridge in the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal is scheduled to start on May 22.
Officials say it’s expected to continue into late fall 2024.
The bridge will be reduced to one lane with portable traffic signals installed to manage traffic flow.

There’s a road closure in Kemptville to be aware of.
Anniversary Way is closed between County Road 43 and Veterans Way until Friday.
Detour signs are in place.

The Art on The Waterfront Kid’s Talent Show is scheduled for early next month.
They are looking for kids up to 16-years-old for the event on June 2.

South Grenville’s Best Ball Golf Tournament is taking place in July.
It’s scheduled for July 8 in support of the Spencerville Mill and Museum Rise-Up Campaign.
