Galaxy Cinemas Brockville is expected to close its doors for good come early July.
In an email to the My Prescott Now Newsroom, Cineplex Executive Director of Operations for Quebec West and Ontario East Jason Benway says they are targeting a July 7 end-of-day closure for the theatre.
He says the theatre’s lease was ip and they made, what he calls, the very difficult decision not to renew it.
Benway is thanking employees and the local community for all their dedication and support over the past 18 years.
