Here’s what’s happening in Prescott:

The Spencerville Legion is hosting an Anniversary Luncheon this Sunday.
It’s free for veterans to attend and others can reserve their tickets by calling the Legion.
Past Presidents and Legion dignitaries will also attend.
It’s happening at the Legion at noon on Sunday with lunch served at 1 p.m.

You’re being reminded that the deadline for registering to play in the Prescott and District Soccer Association is fast approaching.
It’s on May 9th and registrations after that date will be $90.
The season is expected to run from mid-May until the end of July.

Health officials are urging you to protect yourself from ticks if you’re participating in a community clean-up.
The Leeds, Grenville, and Lanark District Health Unit says you should apply a repellant with DEET.
You should also wear light-colored clothing, tuck your pants in your socks, and wear fully enclosed shoes.

The Leeds Grenville 2024 basketball camp is set for July.
Taking place from July 22nd to July 26th, the camp is for ages 5 through 14.
