Here’s what’s happening in Prescott:
Several students at St.Mark Catholic School in Prescott were recently recognized with Cognitive Flexibility Awards.
Officials say the students demonstrated the ability to see problems from different perspectives, view mistakes as a learning opportunity, and reframe problems in a positive light.
They add that they are also able to think outside of the box and are open to other ideas and opinions.

The Prescott Legion is hosting a Mother’s Day buffet breakfast.
It runs from 9 a.m. to noon and only 200 tickets are available.
You can pick them up at the legion.
There will also be a Mother’s Day raffle taking place that day as well.

The inaugural St.Mark Spring Fling Market is scheduled for Saturday.
Admission is $2 or with a donation of a non-perishable food item.
Doors open at 10 a.m.

The 2024 Local Business Expo is scheduled for this weekend in Winchester.
Organizers say it’s happening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and will feature a number of local businesses.
It’s hosted in partnership with the North Dundas Chamber of Commerce.
