Here’s what’s happening in Prescott:
There’s a garden sale at Maynard Public School in Prescott next month.
It’s scheduled for May 15 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It’s organized by the school’s Grade 2/3 class.
The class is looking for donations of seeds, both opened or unopened packages, and plants.
Seed donations are being accepted until May 10 while plants are being collected until May 15.

The South Edwardsburgh Public School’s parent council is hosting a Mayfest community fundraising event.
Organizers say it’s scheduled for this Saturday at the school in Johnstown.
Activities include carnival-style games with prizes, balloon animals, face painting, BBQ, and plant sales.

A community volunteer income tax clinic is scheduled for Saturday in Iroquis.
It’s taking place at the Royal Canadian Legion on Dundas Street from 10 a.m. to noon.
It’s a free service for individuals and families with modest incomes.

The South Grenville Guild of Fine Art is hosting their Spring Splash Art Show this weekend.
It’s scheduled to be hosted at the Royal Canadian Legion on Henry Street West.
Admission is free and you can stop in starting Friday at 7 p.m. to see the finest works of the local arts community.
