Additional lane closures on 401 today to complete clean-up after collision

Leeds County OPP are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving two tractor trailers and a passenger vehicle.

Police say just before 6:00pm last night officers responded to reports of a three vehicle collision westbound on Highway 401 in Brockville. A transport truck rear ended another transport truck which then collided with a passenger vehicle.

OPP say the initial transport driver was taken by ambulance to hospital in serious condition but was later downgraded to minor injuries. Other parties involved were assessed for minor injuries. Police also say the Ministry of Environment was advised and attended regarding a diesel fuel leak. The Leeds and Grenville Paramedic Service, Brockville City Fire, Ministry of Transportation and Kanes Towing attended last night.
