A Brockville woman might be sleeping with one eye open tonight as she discovered an unwanted visitor in her apartment early this morning. Staff Sergeant Todd Bertrend of the Brockville Police says the woman called to report a snake in her living room just after midnight.
Officers went to the south-end apartment but the snake disappeared into the air vent before they arrived. The woman snapped a picture of the uninvited guest with her phone before it continued on its tour.
Sgt. Bertrend has confirmed the corn snake has been captured and is in good hands.
It was lost by a previous tenant of the building and was last seen about two months ago.
