The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario has updated the published 2015-2016 school year calendar by increasing the number of Professional Activity Days from two to three.
This change is in accordance with the recent amendments by the Ministry of Education to the Education Act as a result of recently negotiated settlements with the four provincial teachers’ federations.
The additional PA Day has been scheduled for Friday, April 15, 2016. As with all PA Days, students will not attend school to allow time for teacher professional development priorities, as identified by the Ministry of Education.
