More and more women are playing increasingly larger roles in business and entrepreneurship but their stories are not often heard or told. On January 11th acclaimed documentary Dream, Girl is being brought to the big screen at the Brockville Arts Centre to showcase the power of women in the workplace. Local advocate Katie Pagnello has been the driving force behind bringing this film to Brockville and says “It’s a very motivating movie that I wanted to share with our community” and that “The goal of the evening is to get inspired, share our experiences and find outlets for action.” Admission to the event is free but seating is limited so if you’re interested, you’re asked to please contact Ms Pagnello at [email protected] to reserve.
