The Town of Prescott will be commemorating residents’ and businesses’ accomplishments in 2022 at a ceremony later this month.
Staff members have announced the Community Awards are being presented on July 31st at Town Hall.
The awards are presented every year to name a Citizen, Volunteer and Business of the Year, celebrating the work they do in our community.
Last year’s winners were volunteer and event organizer Art Hitsman, firefighter Bill Countryman, and Prescott Memorials.

Nominations for this year’s awards were collected in the spring.
The ceremony is happening at 6:00 PM on the 31st, and staff members say they’ll be livestreaming it if you can’t attend in person.
