The group opposed to selling or developing the dump site in Spencerville on Byers Road has taken their fight to the next level.
Citizens Against the ED-19 Dump announced they have retained Canadian Environmental Law Association as their legal counsel for the duration of the process.
Kyle Johnston, spokesperson for the group, says they have grow to over 1200 people and will be self-funding their own advertising campaign.
The group is fighting a 25-year-old environmental assessment of the site, claiming it is outdated in comparison to the development of the community.
