Cops Car For Kids Rally Looks to Bring Joy

The Cops Care For Kids rally put on by the Brockville Police Association is now in its sixth year and looking for nominations.

Children and families who are experiencing struggles and hardships are invited to apply, as the rally looks to provide special moments and joy to those who need it.

Four local kids were chosen as winner last year and awarded a treat of their choosing.

The deadline for nominations is April 3rd. The winners will be announced in May.

Deserving kids must meet the following guidelines:

  • Between the ages of 3-16
  • Must reside in the Brockville area
  • Have a serious medical illness or affliction
  • Be willing to be accessible to various forms of media

To enter, the following must be included:

  • Name and age of applicant
  • Name and relationship of nominator (must have parental permission)
  • Name of parents and contact information
  • Nature of illness and brief history
  • List three hobbies or interests of the child

Applications can be dropped off at the Brockville Police Station or emailed to [email protected], with the subject “Cops Care For Kids”.
