The Cardinal Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is hosting their 2nd Annual Candlelight Tribute Ceremony tonight. This event is being held in partnership with the 1st Cardinal Beavers and the 1st Iroquois Cubs. Tammy Wilson says the event has turned out even better than they imagined.
You can buy a luminary candle for $6 in remembrance of someone who has served.
The ceremony starts at 6:00pm at the Cardinal cenotaph. The candles will be lit at 7:00. Proceeds go to benefit homeless veterans through “Operation Leave the Streets Behind.”
