Beth Donovan Hospice in Kemptville has $37,000 more than it did a month ago thanks to Hospice Hoedown. The event, held in Manotick, was organized by the Ceilidh Girls. Guests were treated to music by Buckledown as well as food and drinks. Event Co-Chair Margaret Armour says that the idea for the event came from one in 2013 that had raised funds for Karen Brûlé who was fighting cancer. Brûlé past away in 2014.
