A teen from Augusta Township is heading to court to face charges of drug trafficking after a traffic stop in Prescott last week. Just before noon October 19th police stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Edward and Dibble Streets. Officers noticed the passenger wasn’t wearing his seatbelt.
After a short investigation, the fifteen-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Further investigation led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia and a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
