Brockville Police are looking for a man who was camping under the Highway 401 overpass for North Augusta Road. Police spoke to the 50-year-old man from Ottawa yesterday afternoon and found out he was wanted for assault in Ottawa. Brockville Police called the Ottawa service. They said they didn’t want to come pick up the man to face the charges, so he was released. Later, Brockville Police learned he was breaching a court condition that stated he couldn’t leave Ottawa city limits. The man now faces new charges. Officers returned to the overpass but found the man was gone. A warrant is being sought for his arrest.
