The seventh annual Walk for Katie raised over $400 on Sunday. The money will be used for the Katie Hadley Memorial Bursary at South Grenville District High School. Hadley was once a student at the school. She was student council president and an athlete. Hadley died in 2010 during the Haiti earthquake. The bursary goes to a student graduating at the school who’s proceeding with a post-secondary education in engineering. Approximately 25 participants walked in the event this year.
