Vista Radio – the parent company of MyPrescottNow.com– is growing. Vista has announced the purchase of 21 radio stations in British Columbia from Bell Media.
It means the company will operate over 70 stations serving local communities just like ours in BC, the Northwest Territories, Alberta and Ontario.
Bryan Edwards, the company’s President, says he’s looking forward to integrating the new stations into Vista Radio, and that many of the current workers there fit into the existing company culture.
“We know the current staff share our commitment to local programming, news, economy, and community service,” Edwards says. “This formula is why Vista’s growth is exponential and positions us as the ideal steward for these frequencies and their digital presence.”
Executives with the company say the sale still needs to be approved by the CRTC.
