If you’re planning to drive through Winchester in the next few days you’ll need to account for some detours or delays.
The Township of North Dundas has closed the northbound lane of St. Lawrence Street to all non-local traffic, to finish building the new sewers on Main Street.
The lane is closed between Main Street and Caleb Street, but parking on that side of the road is still available if you need to visit a business there.
While the closure is in place, two different detours have been set up by the township to keep traffic flowing, along Church Street and Caleb Street.
