Iroquois-Matilda Lions Club announces St. Patrick’s Day Celebration raising money for CHEO

A JUNO Award-nominated musician will be performing in South Dundas in a few weeks for an event benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).

Jim Mustard from the Iroquois-Matilda Lions Club says his group is preparing for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 18th.

“The location is going to be Matilda Hall in Brinston,” Mustard says. “The cost is $50 per person, and we’re supporting CHEO Pediatric Cancer, and the Iroquois Pavilion Project, which is a project to put a pavilion in at a mall in Iroquois.”

Mustard says Wayne Rostad, who also made an appearance at the 2022 Spencerville Fair, will be performing at the party, and dinner will be provided, as well as a cash bar and an auction.

He says tickets are available now at Mustard’s Variety and River Rat Treasures in Iroquois, and he expects them to sell quickly.

“You can phone those places [to get tickets], or you can reserve them at the door and pick them up at the door,” he explains.

You can find more details about the Iroquois-Matilda Lions Club on the organization’s social media pages.
