Some Augusta residents will be able to save money on fire insurance this year.
The township has announced on social media that Augusta Fire Rescue has renewed its Tanker Shuttle Service Certification.
For residents living within 8 to 10 kilometres of either of Augusta’s fire stations, that means your insurance company might offer lower rates.
People who live within five kilometres of one of the township’s “approved water supplies” may also qualify, but staff members say this varies from company to company.
