The Ottawa Police Service had put out a call to the public to help identify a motorcyclist who is becoming a menace on the roadways. They have identified and charged an Ottawa man.
Thanks to several tips received from the public, the driver was identified as James Cole, 25 years old. Mr Cole has been charged with two counts of pointing a firearm and 2 counts of breach of probation. On a number of occasions this month, Ottawa Police and Ottawa region OPP have investigated public complaints of the biker, who drives erratically in traffic. When some vehicles did not allow room for passing, the motorcyclist waved a handgun.
