Local stars of track and field will be competing today for the 2016 Upper Canada Cup. The events start this morning at 9:00am at Thousand Islands Secondary School in Brockville. The meet will attract 800 intermediate track and field athletes, who will compete in 12 events.
Awards will be presented for all track events throughout the day on the podium at the centre of the infield. Banners will be awarded to the top schools with the most team points for Grade 7 boys, Grade 7 girls, Grade 8 boys, Grade 8 girls, and overall top school.
