Survivors of stroke in Lanark, Leeds Grenvlle now have access to the Acute Stroke Unit at the Brockville General Hospital. New stroke patients who attend the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, and who require admission to hospital, will now be transferred to the Acute Stroke Unit at BGH. Patients will continue to receive follow-up care and rehabilitation in their own communities.
