Trunk or Treat event happening in Prescott and Brockville

The annual Trunk or Treat event in Brockville is returning this year and including a Prescott location.

The events will be happening on October 31st at O’Reilly’s Your Independent Grocer in Prescott and behind Centennial Road Church in Brockville from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

Johanna Freer from Upper Canada Youth For Christ says there are families who have decorated their trunks and families that have registered their children can drive their cars through the trick-or-treat area. There will be a person at the beginning taking numbers of who is in the vehicle and families will stay in their own vehicles.

Freer says pre-registration is still open until the 28th.

Freer says the event was created 12 years ago by the church as a way to create a safe, fun and free way to celebrate family and community.

Candy donations are still being accepted at the Superstore, Canadian Tire, Centennial Road Church and Giant Tiger in Brockville and O’Reilly’s Your Independent Grocer and Canadian Tire in Prescott.

Registration can be done here.
