Over 100 people served at King’s Kitchen Christmas Day meal

Around 120 people enjoyed a meal together at South Grenville District High School in Prescott.

The sixth annual free Christmas Day meal was put on by King’s Kitchen. Chair Carol Casselman says attendees were from all around with the majority from Prescott. Between 20 and 30 volunteers made this meal happen. Casselman thanks the volunteers, Kriska, O’Reilly’s Your Independent Grocer, Your Family Dollar and Tim Hortons for donating time and money. She says it was a great day.

Casselman says they are back in business next Wednesday for their regular weekly meals and the first meal back will be a spaghetti dinner.
