107.9 Coast FM is hosting a Radiothon in support of the South Grenville Food Bank. The event runs from 6:00am to 6:00pm on Friday. Every dollar will go to the charity.
The Radiothon brought in $6,900 last year. People can donate by dropping by the station at 119 King Street West or by calling 613-925-9955.
The food bank serves over 1,000 people in Augusta, Edwardsburgh/Cardinal and Prescott.Â
Executive Director Bonnie Pidgeon Cougler says the organization provides people with fresh food, frozen meat and other household items depending on funding available.Â
