Thousand Islands Secondary School (TISS) is the 2019 Upper Canada Cup Boys Soccer Champion. The tournament were held last week in Carleton Place.
The team went up against North Grenville District High School in the finals.
The TISS Pirates took an early lead, scoring two goals in the first half.
Midfielder Isaiah Beckstead scored on a well-placed shot, just inside the right post from the top of the 18-yard box. Striker Gavin Clarke later sent a left-footed shot in the same area of the net.
The final score was 4-2 for the Pirates.
