Damage estimated to be thousands of dollars after Kriska fire

At least $80,000 in damage is estimated after a fire at Kriska in Prescott.

Prescott Fire Chief Barry Moorhouse says they received a page just before 4:30 last night for a structure fire at the Kriska Warehouse.  He says flames were visible when first responders got to the scene and the fire was knocked down within 15 minutes of arrival.

The fire was isolated to the exterior of the building at the south/west dock doors, and damage was sustained to the dock doors, outer framework around the doors, foam seals and the overhang, according to Moorhouse.

He adds nobody was hurt and damage is estimated to be between $80,000 and $100,000. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
