Girls Inc. launches new website

Girls Inc. of Upper Canada has a new way to showcase its programming. The organization launched a revamped website.

Program Manager Liz Harder says it has a modern, dynamic design. She noted it illustrates the history of the organization and how the local branch partners with the community to serve girls in Leeds and Grenville.

Harder says Girls Inc. offers full or partial subsidy – no questions asked – for all it’s camps. The programming is geared towards girls between the ages of 6 and 13.

Harder explained the next camp is being held in Prescott at the Leo Boivin Community Centre. It runs from August 12 to 16. She noted the theme is ‘Blast Off’ and the girls will be learning about space, earth science and flight.

Girls Inc. then heads to Kemptville, where it will run a ‘Go Wild’ themed camp from August 19 to 23.
