A 23-year-old from British Columbia is facing charges after being stopped in the Edwardsburgh area.

Police say officers from the Grenville County Detachment of the OPP were on Highway 401 on June 16th when they observed a vehicle which had been reported stolen. Officers stopped the vehicle around four that evening and confirmed it had been stolen in British Columbia.

The 23-year-old was arrested and is charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a credit card.

He was released and is scheduled to appear at Court in Brockville in July, according to the OPP.
