Brockville Collegiate Institute’s 27 Dresses and Counting event was a success.
The event took place last week at the school and student Katie Macdonald says altogether there was over 280 dresses that were available. Anybody that needed one for prom or graduation was able to attend the event and get one for free. Macdonald says between 75 and 100 people took home a dress that evening. She adds it was an absolutely amazing event where everyone that came in left with a dress.
Macdonald says this event will happen again next year. She thanks everyone from the community who donated their time and dresses to make it all possible.
