The Under One Roof campaign for Brockville General Hospital’s (BGH) phase two redevelopment project received a generous donation.
The Brockville and District Hospital Foundation (BDHF) thanks Hunter and Betty Grant for their donation of $25,000. This project is to combine the services of BGH currently provided at both the Charles Street and Garden Street sites. Completion for the project is set for the fall of 2020 right now.
BDHF Executive Director Joan Simon says the community share goal is $20-million and they are very close to reaching this goal. Simon adds a total will be release once the internal campaign is completed. Simon says they are grateful for all donations made to the Redevelopment Project, and are fortunate to be living in such a giving community.
The redevelopment project includes constructing a new 93-bed inpatient tower. Updates on the project can be found on BGH’s website here.
