CBC News is reporting that the Canadian Heritage has made a decision about the Canada 150 Rink from Parliament Hill. The rink will make its new home in Gananoque, where it may be named after the late Gord Brown.
Brown passed away in May and a crowdfunding campaign was launched to build the Gord Brown Memorial Rink in Gananoque. The project was a dream of the longtime Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MP.
