Local businesses that are in Prescott’s downtown area will have a spot on a new website the Downtown Prescott Business Improvement Area (BIA) is creating.
The website will showcase businesses downtown, points of interest and tourism highlights in Prescott.
Deron Johnston is the BIA Coordinator and says the Town of Prescott has graciously allowed space on their website for the BIA, but now the BIA feels like they’ve outgrown it.
Johnston says all the businesses that are in the downtown BIA footprint will be on the website, categorized, and available to look up. There will also be an interactive map with the businesses highlighted, so people can find them.
Johnston is currently in the middle of supplying content for the website and says they are definitely well on their way.
There is no date set for the official launch yet, but the website will be prescottdowntown.ca.
