Brockville General Hospital is helping to promote inclusion and accessibility in their hospital and community through a new website.
BGH says it has launched a new corporate website during National AccessAbility Week.
BGH President and CEO Nick Vlacholias says they know it’s “one small step.” He says they strive to make their organization “inclusive and accessible to all of our patients, visitors, staff, medical professionals and volunteers”.
The hospital says its Accessibility Committee supports the goal by meeting regularly to review and assess their multi-year plan. Some of the initiatives that have been outlined include promoting accessibility training to all staff, identifying and addressing any physical barriers and providing education sessions to staff.
