Working Group Established for Proposed Pedestrian Ferry

A working group has been set up on the proposed Pedestrian Ferry.

Mayor Brett Todd and Councillor Fraser Laschinger will be part of a working group proposed by former Senator Bob Runciman. Runciman will also serve in the group as a representative of New York State Senator Patricia Ritchie. There will also be representatives from Ogdensburg, where the ferry would make dock on the American side of the St. Lawrence.

Mayor Todd said there are a lot of questions that need to be asked and this is where they can start. According to Mayor Todd they have support from both the MP and MPP. Councillor Ray Young was not able to attend committee but everyone in attendance voted in favour.
