The City of Brockville is preparing for warmer weather.
The city has announced they will now be accepting applications for summer lifeguards. According to the city the duties will include providing a safe and enjoyable swimming experience at St. Lawrence Park by monitoring activities and providing help to swimmers, as they need it.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have a valid National Lifeguard Service certificate. A Standard First Aid Certificate with level “C” CPR is mandatory and some of the positions may also require Red Cross and Lifesaving Society Certification.
High school students are encouraged to apply because the positions run from June to August and all applications must be in by 4:00pm on April 13th. They can be submitted in person at City Hall or by emailing [email protected].
