The saga is coming to an end for some area residents who were given diesel gas instead of regular in January.

Cindy Lewis says she filled up at the Ultramar in Prescott on the afternoon of the 16th and then her car started running poorly. After needing to have her car towed Cindy saw a Facebook post about the gas mix-up and contacted the Ultramar Customer Satisfaction Center. She was asked to mail a few documents, like the receipt from her purchase, and wait patiently.

According to Cindy, last week she received a full refund for the gas, repairs to her car, a $100 gas card to Ultramar and an apology letter from the company. It doesn’t appear that she was alone in this as several other customers affected by the diesel mistake have also said they have been reimbursed for the repairs.
