Public-Private Partnership Award Goes to South Dundas

South Dundas has been honoured for their work promoting public-private partnerships in the region.

The Municipality of South Dundas received the Public-Private Partnership Award, in the 10 to 50 thousand population category, from the Economic Development Council of Ontario. The award acknowledges a partnership between South Dundas, Ross Video and the Upper Canada District School Board that created the Code Heroes initiative.

UCDSB Board Chair Jeff McMillan says when they were approached in September about setting up the partnership they were excited to take part for the benefit of all their students.

Some of school board’s other technology based initiatives include the Bring Your Own Device program and staff and student wifi capabilities.
