The 38th annual Rockport Winter Carnival starts today.
The first event is a Euchre Tournament at 7:00pm upstairs in the Rockport Recreation Hall. There will be bingo and a dart tournament at 7:00pm on Thursday, then Friday will have night bowling, shuffleboard and a family skate.
The festivities start at 8:00am on Saturday and 11:00am on Sunday, running until 4:00pm both days. There will be horseshoes, European curling, snolf, kids chicken bowling and many other activities.
The five day fundraising event will be held at Rockport Recreation Hall and all the proceeds raised go back to the hall. More details, including a more detailed schedule, can be found here.
