Police remind residents to prepare for winter driving before they head out.
Leeds OPP Detachment says it’s important to drive safely during the winter. Constable Sandra Barr says that can’t be done if you haven’t cleaned off your windshield.
Barr says if you choose not to clean off your vehicle, it could cost you.
Barr says the fine is only a small consequence compared to what could happen if you injure yourself or someone else in a crash.
Police also remind drivers to slow down and give themselves extra time during the winter months to reach their destination.
