This past weekend’s blood donor clinic was a success.
Canadian Blood Services Territory Manager Mary Ann St. Michael says that despite the long weekend, they managed to exceed their expectations.
The goal was to collect 72 units of blood. St. Michael says 84 potential donors walked through the door and 74 were able to donate.
St. Michael says that while it’s difficult to attract donors during the holidays, they were really happy with the turnout.
