Leeds Grenville MPP Steve Clark is lending his voice in support of parents of students attending development schools.
Development schools offer a specialized education for students who are hard of hearing or experiencing learning disabilities. The Wynne government announced last month that the schools will no longer be accepting applications. Clark says that is a thinly veiled announcement that the schools will be closing, and it is not acceptable.
Clark says a number of petitions will be read in Queen’s Park in the coming days demanding the schools be kept open.
