Brockville Police are warning residents about a potential scam taking place in the area.
The police say they were contacted by a number of concerned community members after they received phone calls alleging water sampling was being conducted in the area.
The police say the City of Brockville does not currently have any companies contracted on their behalf to test water. Brockville Police suggest residents hang up if they receive a call regarding water testing.
