A Brockville woman has been charged following a domestic disturbance.
The 37-year-old woman is facing charges after Brockville Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at a home on Brock Street. The police arrived shortly before 5:00 PM on Saturday to find the disturbance over and that the accused female had left the residence.
Following an investigation police learned that the accused had grabbed art from the wall and thrown it at her husband, striking him in the shoulder area. It was also revealed that at the time of the incident the woman was on recognizance of bail with several conditions including; not to communicate with the 28-year-old-make victim and not to visit the address on Brock Street.
The woman is now facing charges of; assault with a weapon, mischief under $5000 and three counts of breaching recognizance.
